Tammy Azur Named 2022 Junior Tennis Provider of the Year by USTA New England
On November 5, 2022, longtime Edge in Essex Tennis Director and Edge Junior Tennis Director Tammy Azur was awarded the 2022 USTA New England Junior Provider of the year at an awards ceremony at Tennis Weekend in Framingham, MA. Celebrated by her family, friends, and other New England award winners, Tammy stands out as an inspired leader in junior coaching, competition, and bridge building across diverse populations and communities of young athletes. Testimonials from area youth, their parents, current and former high school players and their coaches supported Tammy’s Nomination.

- Edge Junior Program Director (all Edge sites) – develop programming, oversee staff, direct on court programs at all levels
- Summer JTT Coordinator/Coach

- Director of Summer Camps for Chittenden County Town/City Recreation Departments – in charge of staffing and providing equipment for junior recreational tennis camps for the cities and towns of Burlington, South Burlington, Williston, Essex Town, Essex Jct, and Milton.
