In early October, Errol Nattrass, BTC Tennis Director and PTR Professional, traveled to Columbus, Georgia to participate in the 2023 Donoff Cup, a Mens Intersectional event. He was joined by teammates Nestor Bernabe, Jedidiah Glassman, Alex Wong, and Alistair Chapman from across New England, and they competed in the 35 age groups against teams from Southern and Midwest sections.
Errol shares that the weather did not cooperate, and the team was only able to play one full match against Midwest. New England won that 4-1. Errol won his singles 6-1, 6-0, but lost 10-8 in the 3rd set matchbreaker in doubles.
Sadly, the team had to withdraw to Southern as a couple of teammates went home early due to the poor weather forecast. Errol’s team finished second in their division to Southern.
