Current and future tennis coaches!

Burlington Tennis Club is hosting a tennis coaching certification workshop on June 12 and 13 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. each day.

USTA VT will be subsidizing this program for up to $250 for qualified applicants.

There are many benefits to becoming a certified teaching professional and joining the PTR. Level 1 Certification prepares coaches to do the following:

• Structure age and stage-appropriate tennis activities for beginner to low-intermediate players of all ages
• Apply sound teaching/coaching principles to deliver safe, enjoyable, and goal-oriented learning opportunities
• Use techniques to increase player self-awareness, continued development, and effectiveness

This scholarship includes a partial payment toward your annual 2023-24 PTR membership fee of $345. The workshop itself costs $157.

New this year is the PTR W program for women! The total cost for women (membership + workshop) is $197. With the USTA VT subsidy, you’re getting a membership and certification for free!
