We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Beth Ellen Cook for her service as our Local League Coordinator. Beth took over from Lesli Nichols just as Vermont was opening its gym doors and returning to competitive play. Beth was courageous, creative, and a dedicated community builder as she worked to create new opportunities for players to feel safe on the court as they renewed their appetite for competition. She created new leagues, held two well attended Captains’ Appreciation Events, and boosted the ranks of registered players. Thank you, Beth!

Vermont League Coordinator
Sadly Vermont will lose our key competitive support staff when Beth steps away from her role as Local League Coordinator at the end of the year. Employed by USTA New England, the Local League coordinator manages our annual competitive schedule, puts out the call for seasonal league letters of intent, records scores, helps maintain a smooth-running league match schedule, manages grievances, all by working closely with tennis professionals, facilities, captains, and players. This position is remote, preferably with a Vermont resident in the role. We encourage you to reach out to Beth at beth.cook@newengland.usta.com for more information about the position.
