The past three years have pushed us all to find what brings joy. For many of us, tennis provides the movement, energy, and community we need to renew and relax. Whether on outdoor or indoor courts, through private clubs, or just noodling around on community courts, we find joy in the simple act of hitting a ball back and forth across a net. We are so lucky to have places to place, competitors, to meet, and dear friends beside whom we can grow, learn and have fun.
For the past year, USTA Vermont has been challenged to find ways to bring tennis players together around our state. COVID restrictions and renewed reluctance to travel have brought concerns around traditional competition. We are working on alternatives with providers and community resources, hoping that we can overcome our geographic obstacles to build a strong, vibrant, diverse, and inclusive VERMONT TENNIS COMMUNITY.
To that end, USTA Vermont has been busy gathering resources, building a calendar, networking with providers, and organizing events to meet the growing needs of players of all ages and abilities. To that end, we invite you to visit our new home for all things TENNIS at tennisinvt.com.
