“Funtastic” Summer Combo League

Summer Combo League

For the first time, Vermont USTA League tennis had four 7.5 Women’s teams enjoying fun competition in a Combo League!  Women rated 3.5 & 4.0 joined forces to play other teams with a 7.5 combined rating.  The matches were held outdoors at the Burlington Tennis Center & the participants expanded their group of tennis friends while enjoying friendly competition & refreshments afterwards.  Combo Leagues are available for both men and women at the 6.5, 7.5, 8.5, and 9.5 levels, so consider forming a team next summer!

Celebrating Vermont Tennis at the Captains & Volunteers Appreciation Event

On September 23, 2023, the courts at the Essex Resort were filled with tennis enthusiasts being recognized for their contribution to USTA VT League tennis!  Captains, co-captains and volunteers were invited to play fun tennis games run by Jeanne Hulsen & Kristin Hartley and to enjoy food & drink at the Essex Resort.  The State League Committee provided t-shirts for all of the captains, and everyone was invited to take home USTA swag.  League tennis would not exist without our hardworking captains & co-captains – THANK YOU!
